Hee Jin Song is a Korean born author-illustrator who studied illustration in Korea and France, and is now based in Sydney, Australia. Her debut picture book, The Golden Apple, was first published by Casterman in France before being released in Italy and Korea; it was shortlisted for the Prix Littéraire de la Fondation MVE in France and has been featured in the Korean National Primary School Curriculum for seven consecutive years. Her illustrated book, Mr. Willow's Wedding Day, was selected for the White Ravens Award in 2014, and her most recent picture book, My Perfect Day, was published in Korea and Taiwan.
